Arduino Leonardo … first try

I got a Arduino Leonardo board from a friend and now i’m exploring the board, the electric circuits and  the programs  for this small electronic device. At the end of this project i would like to … and that’s not a joke …

read the color of my adorable and lovely CATS … one is black and the other one is white/tiger They should get different food by reading the color of their fur.DSC_1023

But back to “the unboxing”:

 The board is from the former Indigogo project started by Boderless Electronics (http://borderlesselectronics.org) and includes:

  • 1 x Arduino Leonardo Clone
  • 6 x LEDs (2 x red 2 x yellow 2 x green)
  • 6 x resistors for the LEDs (a 330 Ohm)
  • 1 x photoresistor and pairing resistor
  • 1 x buzzer
  • 1 x set of jumper wire (10pcs)
  • 1 x mini solderless breadboard
  • 3 x switches
  • 1 x USB cable
  • some other stuff
